Manuel Simões de Carvalho has worked with KGSA since 2022 and advises technology companies and other sectors, crypto-asset issuers, investment funds, and family offices on income tax (personal and corporate), real estate taxes, stamp duty, and VAT.
He has extensive experience in M&A and venture-capital transactions, corporate restructurings, transactions involving crypto-assets, international tax matters, and the acquisition and disposal of real-estate assets, in Portugal and abroad.
He also handles personal income tax matters, particularly foreign investment, wealth management, investments in crypto-assets, and the compensation of startup founders and executives.
