Founded in Lisbon in 2009, KGSA has been dedicated from the outset to litigation, solidarity-driven causes, and innovation. The firm grew from the experience and vision of its founding partners, J. M. Simões de Almeida and Inês Krusse Gomes, who sought to build a legal practice with strategic alignment and grounded in the defense of social causes.
This legacy continues to drive our practice: to intentionally support those who create positive change. Today, we are a firm of causes, not only social, but also technological and business-driven, and we remain intentional in the interests we choose to support.
Our practice can be described in different ways, but internally we say simply: we support the interests that, while relevant to everyone, also matter to us. The premise never changes: we work alongside those who are working for a better world.
